Few people have the privilege of living with their best friends. I'm not talking about college where you go away and get thrown in a room with some complete strangers and come out of the experience as friends. I'm talking deep pre-existing friendships. I'm one of those lucky people. I get to live with not only one of my best friends but both of them. We get to do day to day life together. After 2 1/2 years of living out of the country our time together is a gift. We all grew up together and our friendship goes as far back as grade school. We've walked a lot of miles together, shouldered each others burden, dried each others tears, see good times and bad, experienced change, and so much more. Yet our friendship remains just as strong as ever....stronger really. I often wonder aloud to God why I was chosen for such a blessing. I really am the lucky one. Off and on I'll stop and try and think about what my life would be like without them. I don't know how I would ever get through life without them. They are my soul-mates. People often tease us about the weird connection we have. No one seems to understand the depth or realness of it. So today I'm taking a moment to pay tribute to our bond and the blessing that it is in my life. I hope each of you has a friend like these two.

i have several friends like that, and funny enough, two of them happen to be sitting on either side of you in this pic too :) hehe.
